On April 9th, Robinson students and teachers participated in the Día de monitoreo de agua en PR, an activity sponsored by the Estuario de San Juan, Calidad Ambiental, Crowley Maritime, among others. They joined many volunteers and were able to learn through experience how to properly test water quality. They collected data such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, nitrate levels, and ammonia. The data collected will be sent to a national bank of water quality.
Water pollution prevention protects this precious resource. It is essential to maintaining our environmental and physical health, and our quality of life as a planet. We want to thank our students and teachers for their initiative!
