This year our PTO and Development Office organized two new seasonal events to benefit the Robinson Scholarship Fund while supporting new philanthropic online platforms and local businesses.
The first annual Christmas Auction raised $$8,000 during our annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The “Bidding for Good” online platform, “a charitable e-commerce company that connects fundraisers, cause-conscious shoppers, and socially responsible businesses,” expanded the event (and its fundraising potential) beyond just our school community to include active members of online auction site. The event was fun, dynamic and truly spread the holiday spirit of giving in gratitude and exchanging gifts in celebration!
The first annual Spring Tasting Tour brought the Robinson community together under a festival of lights and hanging gardens to support the Scholarship Fund and local entrepreneurs who are finding creative ways to thrive during these trying economic times. Both of these events are sure to become part of the Robinson’s tradition of mixing fun and service!
