The President of our Board of Trustees, Carl Kortum, has announced Head of School Dan Hildebrand’s departure and that 22-year Robinson veteran and Assistant Head of School Cindy Ogg has assumed his responsibilities.
In only three years and three months at Robinson School, Dan and Assistant Head Cindy Ogg have led the School’s Board to undertake and achieve major goals: developing a new Strategic Plan; undertaking major renovations to our facilities, including the cafeteria, science labs, classrooms, and physical education facilities; improving and expanding internet systems and curricula; increasing enrollment by 4% to more than 600 students despite the local economic situation and doubling Summer Camp enrollment; placing it on the path to becoming the first school in Puerto Rico to be certified by the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization; renovating our Elementary School Library; implementing a comprehensive branding program while improving both internal and external communications and forging an excellent relationship with the United Methodist Church… quite a lot in such a short time.
Celebrating 22 years at Robinson this year, Cindy is a most familiar face on the School’s 4.5 acre Condado campus. She oversees the School’s IB Candidacy process for both its Primary Years and Middle Years Programs and successfully launched the School’s first-ever Toddlers Program earlier this School Year. “The Trustees and I are certain that with Cindy’s energy, leadership and caring, and the help of everyone in the Robinson Community, we will continue our forward progress as we approach our 115th Anniversary in 2017,” concluded Mr. Kortum.
