Bright Beginnings Philosophy

The Bright Beginnings Preschool Program provides an introduction to the foundations of learning. These learning experiences serve as the first bridge between home and school. They channel children’s natural enthusiasm and curiosity by setting the stage for future learning. Our goal is to create an environment that helps children develop their self-concept as competent learners, adjust to new environments, establish appropriate behavior, and connect with the outside world while immersed in engaging academic experiences.

Our program focuses on the education of the whole child. This initiative begins at the age of three, taking into consideration the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of the student while meeting each child at his level. Our exceptional teachers work with the children to assist them in moving from one developmental stage to the next, while instilling a sense of self that will help each child find his place in the world.

The preschool faculty is uniquely qualified to prepare student-centered, highly engaging activities. In Bright Beginnings, we divide the room into learning stations, called centers, as part of the instructional program.  Here, children work with concrete materials to construct their own meaning and draw their own conclusions about the world around them.
