Dr. Johnny Rullán, ex Secretary of Health and a Robinson School alumnus, recently released his autobiography titled “Una vida en salud”. In his book, Rullán remembers the landmarks in Puerto Rico health history. He reexamines his professional legacy giving concrete recommendations for a healthy individual life and offers scientifically based insights for the renovation of the actual health system.
Today, Rullán presented “Una vida en salud” to our Middle School students during their morning assembly. In this book, divided into ten chapters, he shows his interest to present crucial ideas for the betterment of the public health and well-being of Puerto Rico inhabitants. He explained that these recommendations are based on well-being prioritization, prevention, and scientific evidence. “This book serves as a guide into the implementation of wide systematic health reforms”.
We want to thank Dr. Rullán for sharing this presentation with our students! It’s always great to welcome our Alumni back on campus!
