Congratulations to Dylan Kuan (11th grade) who was accepted to the Brown University on Location: CDC Atlanta Program for this summer!
Each summer, students from all over the world attend Brown University Pre-College Location-Based Programs to prepare for college success, and to experience the challenge of college-level academics. As stated on their website, Brown Pre-College Programs are immersive and rigorous academic experiences with selected course content and learning locations designed to prepare students for the increasingly complex challenges of the 21st century.
Brown has partnered with the Centers for Disease Control to offer students a unique one-week opportunity to study infectious diseases alongside some of the world’s top researchers. When not conducting hands-on experiments at CDC labs, students study and stay at Atlanta’s Agnes Scott College. Brown also offers other summer experiences in STEM, Environmental Leadership, History, Art, Architecture, Language and Culture.
