Sunday brings us a very special Chapel service, which we are connecting to the memory of the traditional Baccalaureate ceremony. The Chapel is a special place that holds memories for every Robinsonian. This family-friendly (cuido included) service will also give us the time and space to honor those who are no longer with us and a moment of reflection to give thanks for the opportunity of Robinson to come together once again. The service will be short, just long enough for us to feel the full legacy of Robinson.
Then, we move to the Tropical Brunch in the Gym. The past, present and future of Robinson will be on full display, featuring:
- Our famous Flamboyán yearbook collection that spans the decades.
- Past and future plans for Robinson. What did our school look like in 1905? We have architectural plans and photos that show our progress over the past 115 years. Want to see where faculty and students lived when Robinson first opened its doors as an orphanage at the turn of the century? Or perhaps you’d like to see the future of Robinson with drawings and plans designed by our very own students. It will all be here!
- Our Hawk Boutique. For those of you who can’t get enough Robinson memorabilia, our little store will be open with one-of-a-kind and limited edition items, as well as the traditional keepsakes you have come to know and love.
- Student exhibitions. If you think we were brilliant and creative in our day, come see what our young Robinsonians can dream up now. You will be delighted and proud to be a part of this school that has evolved over the past 115 years, while remaining true to its mission of service.
Did we mention delicious tropical brunch fare and mimosas? It will be an exquisite and unique experience!
