Professional development for teachers is vital for teachers. This gives them to have consistent and structured opportunities to share strategies and learn from each other. It keeps teachers up-to-date on the latest research about how students learn, emerging technology tools for the classroom, new curriculum resources, and more. Professional development must be ongoing, experiential, and collaborative. It should be based on working with students and understanding their culture.
