Havanna Cabrero Carrión (’17)

Big applause for our beloved alumna (’17), Havanna Cabrero, who was recently featured on the cover of El Nuevo Día newspaper as they recognize her achievements as a professional surfer.

At only 22 years old, Havanna is “one of the rising athletes in this sport and already dreams of qualifying for the 2024 Olympics,” said El Nuevo Día. After six years of experience, Havanna has a chance to qualify and proudly represent Puerto Rico in Paris 2024. In addition, it would be the first time that Puerto Rico would compete in this discipline in the Olympics games!

Havanna, who is also a medical student, is the current sub-champion in Latin America and ranked 11th in the North American region.

On behalf of the Robinson School family, we wish her the greatest success, as we know that she will represent us with great pride and determination. Go Hawk, you are our champion!
