Robinson is part of a global community service club!
Did you know we have an Interact Club?
Interact is a club sponsored by the Rotary Club of San Juan for young people ages 12-18 who want to join together and make a difference in their community and the world. Founded in 1960 by Rotary International, there are now more than 12,300 Interact clubs in 133 countries, making it a truly global phenomenon!
Here at Robinson, we are proud to have started an Interact Club chapter led by Spiritual Life teachers and club moderators, Elba Rodríguez and Humberto Pizarro. In this club, students carry out community service projects, make international connections, develop leadership skills, and have fun!
Interact clubs carry out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Our student members are currently busy developing their projects.
In early November, several members of our Robinson Interact Club represented the Club at the Rotary Club of San Juan’s regular meeting. They also met the Commonwealth Interact Club, which is well known for their active community service. Our School’s Club Members introduced themselves to the Rotary community and had the opportunity to share their dreams and plans for the future.
