The Hawk Award is a recognition that students receive for applying the IB learner profile attitudes in their lives. Recently, 4 of our students were awarded an IB Buck for embodying the IB learner profile.
We had the honor of interviewing them to find out why they think they won this award.
Here’s what they told us:
This amazing athlete won the Hawk Award for being caring! When his friends are feeling down he is always there to cheer them up and make them feel super happy again! He is a 4th grader and his favorite thing about Robinson School is how he “loves to learn”. He plays soccer, volleyball and basketball! #HawkPride
Ortiz won the Hawk Award because he was recognized as principled and caring. He loves to help his friends in any way he can while also helping them with their schoolwork. He is in 4th grade and what he loves most about Robinson is that “the teachers are super nice”. On his free time he enjoys playing tennis.
