Discover Yourself, Your Passion and Your Purpose.

Middle School students transitioning into the 7th-9th Grade program join an important global community committed to developing knowledgeable, empathetic young people who will be prepared to make significant contributions toward a more harmonious and peaceful world.

As the crucial link between a student’s elementary years and their preparation for college and university entrance in our Upper School, our Middle School is a welcoming, caring place where students continue to develop as risk-takers, as communicators, and as advocates for themselves, their peers and their community. Middle School embraces students from diverse backgrounds that enriches their experience within an international learning environment. Students expand their horizons with the addition of the study of a third language, French Language Acquisition, in addition to English and Spanish. The introduction of Design Technology affords students’ explorations of the STEM and Design Thinking processes. The Middle School Advisory program provides a developmentally responsive space during the school day and opportunities for students and faculty to connect around issues facing our students at school and in their world. Students work to develop the skills to take on each opportunity and overcome everyday challenges that they will face at Robinson and beyond into their future.

Robinson Middle School is a FUN, active place to be. Students lead assemblies, participate in meaningful service, putting to use their leadership and advocacy skills, and celebrate their uniqueness and desire to grow and learn each day. Students in 9th Grade begin work on the MYP Personal Project, a ten-month personal exploration that combines research and personal interest towards creating an action in benefit of the school, local or global community. Students showcase the skills they develop as IB students throughout their time in 7th-10th grades.
