Did you know that some of our students are pen-pals with students in Singapore? Sandra Colón, one of our social studies teachers, shared these letters with us where students from the Overseas Family School who study Spanish shared some facts about themselves with hopes of building a relationship with Robinson students.
Some of the benefits of pay-paling is that students learn about the world and broaden their horizons because it’s a wonderful way to learn more about the world around them. It helps them develop empathy, and the ability to see things from another person’s perspective. Also, kids get to practice their writing skills and organize their thoughts!
Enjoy the letters!
