Robinson School makes a $30,000 matching fund pledge to the Scholarship Fund for a second year in a row!
On January 21, 2017, Robinson celebrated its 115th Anniversary Scholarship Fund Golf Classic, one of our annual favorites. After the event, we were very excited to share that the tournament was a great success! Once again, we made $30,500 for the Robinson Scholarship Fund! The tournament received support from all of our community: students, alumni, parents, teachers, staff members and vendors. We continue to celebrate that every year the Robinson community gets more involved with this great cause. Our tournament’s ongoing success clearly shows that it’s possible to continue thriving and growing when we all work together!
Today, Head of School Cindy Ogg and Operations Manager Jannette Santiago announced that, for a second year in a row, Robinson pledges a matching fund for the amount raised in this year’s Golf Classic! Matching Funds are funds that are set to be paid in equal amount to funds available from other sources for charitable works and/or public good. This pledge exemplifies Robinson’s culture of philanthropy in action. We are proud of how this culture continues to grow and extend throughout our community. This growth happens organically when Robinson, as an institution, steps up as a role model and takes action, as with this matching funds pledge. We’re proud to be part of a school that walks the walk and truly lives its mission!
On behalf of our scholarship recipients, and the Admissions and Development Offices, we want to recognize ROBINSON SCHOOL for donating $30,000 as a Matching Fund Pledge to the Robinson School Scholarship Fund. This is the second annual pledge that Robinson School will donate to the Scholarship Program, as part of its sustained and ongoing support for this important program. It fills us with pride and joy to know that our Scholarship Fund Golf Classic success will be doubled with the support of Robinson School.
Join us in thanking our wonderful school!
