Another great accomplishment for Robinson School!
Today we celebrate our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) authorization! Robinson School continues to lead the educational vanguard in Puerto Rico as San Juan’s only International Baccalaureate World School!
This achievement advances our long-standing institutional commitment to ground-breaking teaching philosophies and techniques that transform our students into successfully engaged world citizens, prepared for the globalized world of the 21st century.
In our IB-MYP authorization letter, Mr. Andrew Macdonald, IB Chief Schools Officer, congratulated Robinson on this “considerable accomplishment and confirmed that we are part an important “global community of schools committed to developing knowledgeable, caring young people” who will be prepared to make significant contributions toward “a more harmonious and peaceful world.” We join Mr. Macdonald and the IB Organization in commending our educators, administrators, students and families in choosing to offer this cutting-edge curriculum. The positive impact of this choice will become evident as we graduate students who “enhance social, cultural and economic environments” locally, nationally and globally.
Since its establishment in 1902, Robinson School set out to create broad-thinking, well-rounded, knowledgeable students with a sense of character based on “academic excellence, Christian values, dignity and respect for all.” Today, we are closer to the vision we share with IB for “a better and more peaceful world, achieved through intercultural understanding and respect.”
Thank you for supporting Robinson during the IB MYP authorization process and helping us achieve this goal! Today, we celebrate the hard work of our educators and the future of our students as they both go on to change the world!
