The Robinson Student Government Association (SGA) has identified safe drinking water as Puerto Rico’s #1 emergency priority. Nobody can survive without water for basic human hygiene and health. Unlike electricity and other utilities, water is vital for sustaining life and human survival. To make a long-lasting difference in the lives of those affected by hurricane María, the students created a Campaign called Clean H2O 4 PR. The objective of this campaign is to raise funds to buy water filters that could eliminate pathogens to create clean drinking water.
The Robinson SGA needs your support to immediately and directly impact those in need. 100% of fundraising efforts contribute to the purchase and delivery of the Sawyer Mini filters to our island’s most hard-hit areas and families.
“Each filter can provide a family of four with clean water for 17 years. Our goal is 500 filters for 500 families.” said Sebastián Pons, Robinson Senior, SGA rep, and campaign organizer. “We are all in this together. Any and all donations, no matter how small, help!”
