One of this summer highlights was the visit from Robinson students to the community of La Perla. The purpose of this visit was to support the efforts of a project called La Perla pinta su futuro. This project joined several sectors to restore, revitalize and uplift this community with a long history of Puerto Rican culture. Local artists and other volunteers gathered in several occasions to paint walls, houses, benches, and more. Walls were transformed into extraordinary murals and houses were painted with vibrant colors. Robinson students painted the pier, also known as el malecón . They had a wonderful time doing community service, local tourism and making new friends in La Perla. Join us in thanking our student volunteers! Robinson is a culture of service!
