Robinson Thespians gave everyone an amazing experience with their performance of Santa Cló va a La Cuchilla. Our Drama teacher, Ms. Karla Marcano, adapted the Puerto Rican story into a playwright and the result was spectacular. The story, written by Abelardo Díaz Alfaro, takes place at the beginning of the 20th century. Puerto Ricans didn’t know who was Santa Claus and, as part of the Americanization process, the government tried to teach about him in schools. When Santa arrived in the classroom, students couldn’t be more scared!
