The Vida Plena Plena Vida group is an important asset to our community. During their last activity the group gathered 72 women! We decided to interview our school Chaplin, Rosangélica Acevedo, to learn more about the work they do.
They started as a small Bible study group of women studying the bible for one hour every Sunday. The reunions lit a spark in the hearts of these women to help others. They decided to share experiences of abundance.
“Women leaders are often discouraged by different circumstances in their lives. To help manage these feelings of tiredness, we offer them workshops to help build a healthier life, a full life,” said Rosangélica. Here at Robinson School, they held three workshops for women. The first workshop was called “Emotion, Stress, and Anxiety Management: Pressure Cooker, the Key is in the Valve” by clinical psychologist, Ixza Casillas . The second workshop was “Spiritual Growth: Challenge to Hope” let by Rev. María del Carmen Sánchez. The third and last workshop was “Life in Balance: Role Play, Jugglers in a New Time” led by clinical psychologist Ilia Vázquez.
