Recently, a group of Robinson School Girls Scouts celebrated a terrific event. Each girl and family researched a country and presented their findings. The theme of the day was “We can create peace through partnership”.
They defined the country’s problems: not enough clean drinking water, violence, poverty etc., and then presented solutions to the issue.
The event was an excellent opportunity for the girls to discuss world problems with their peers and other adults, while actively participating in the analytic process of creating possible solutions.
