Dear Robinson Families,
On Thursday, March 9, collection bags will be distributed to elementary students with a label that reads “Small Change = Big Difference” as part of a campaign to support education at a very special school in Haiti. The campaign will end on Monday, April 3 and culminate with a special Chapel Service.
Please collect any small change you have to help us offer 15 scholarships to the students at College Espoir Chretien, a school for children who are otherwise unable to afford an education in Ouanaminthe, Haiti. A full scholarship for one student costs only $200 a year – a small price to pay for an education.
Please encourage family and friends to join this worthy cause by donating their small change to change the lives of these hard-working students!
Robinson School joined forces with the College Espoir Chretien over 2 years ago through our Spiritual Life program. Robinson School has visited the school twice over the course of this friendship, and we admire the school’s amazing progress and perseverance. Join us in supporting Robinson’s alliance with College Espoir Chretien in recognition of Lent, a time of reflection and realignment of our values. At Robinson, we achieve this through direct service. This “Small Change = Big Difference” campaign honors our 115-year mission of “Academic Excellence, Christian Values, Respect and Dignity for All” and our deeply held belief that uniting education and Christian values transform our students into engaged global citizens and responsible leaders who make a difference.
