Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or related field, required, Master’s preferred
  • Teaching experience and/or professional experience in the subject area
  • Experience in curriculum design and development, preferred
  • Experience teaching in IB World Schools, preferred

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education required, Master’s preferred
  • Certification in Special Education, teaching background in Special Education, or strong record of successful differentiated instruction, required
  • Experience teaching students with Specific Learning Differences
  • Teaching experience in the desired subject area

This position will include teaching assignments in both upper level mathematics and computer sciences.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in the desired content area and modern pedagogical approaches, including conceptual teaching and problem-based learning in Mathematics, particularly in advanced level mathematics courses (Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics)
  • Expertise and experience developing and teaching high level Computer Science courses (Introductory, Advanced Placement (AP) and/or IB Diploma Program). Expertise in developing and instructing App or Game Design, Programming across a variety of relevant languages, and/or Data Science.
  • Expertise in 21st century teaching and learning trends.
  • A commitment to differentiated instruction that meets individual needs and achieves high level outcomes for all students
  • A commitment to project-based and problem-based learning
  • Experienced in the incorporation of educational technology
  • Experienced incorporating STEAM topics as part of instructional delivery
  • A commitment to be an active participant in school and community life
  • A willingness and/or ability to serve as a homeroom teacher, sponsor student clubs, activities or organizations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • A record as a strong collaborator and contributing team member – with faculty, administration and parents
  • Experience in developing and implementing high quality mathematics and computer science curriculum
  • The ability to gather, analyze and use student achievement data to guide curriculum and instruction

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, Master’s preferred
  • Preferred degree requirement may be substituted by demonstrated successful teaching and/or real-world practice experience in the desired fields.
  • Teaching experience in the subject area

Requirements:

  • Caring, engaging, dynamic and committed
  • Ability to create a dynamic, developmentally appropriate classroom that engages learners in planned activities, as well as assisting them during child initiated play and activities
  • Assist during daily routine in hygiene, health and safety procedures, as required
  • Highly observant and diligent
  • Ability to provide frequent and clear feedback regarding child development
  • A strong collaborator and contributing team member with a record of building strong relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Expertise in the desired content area and modern pedagogical approaches
  • A commitment to being an active participant in school and community life
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or CDA
  • Experience working with toddlers, preschool or early elementary students in a school setting
  • Open to learning and teamwork
